We took all of our Kids to Califorina, We flew out on Dec. 26, 2010 But Jared, Susan and Jack flight got delayed because of bad weather in Boston, so the flight they could get was on wed. Dec. 29th.... I think we were pioneer children because we walked and walked and walked and sometimes we ran.... We had a great time. It was fun for Scott and I to watch the Grandchildren laugh and have fun and to watch our own children and Spouses laugh and have fun. But all good things must come to and end and we flew home on Jan 2,2011... what a zoo our flight was delayed 2 times we got to Utah at 12:30PM when we were to get home at 10:30... We had to get to our truck, dig it out of the snow, jump start Tina and John's car. We got home at 3:00 am. We had so much fun so glad we did it, so worth it....

I just have to put a plug in for this cleaning product (from Don Aslett Cleaning Center) I spilled bright PINK nail polish on my light green bedroom carpet I was so sick I used nail polish remover and got most of it out, but then I asked Niki (she use to work at Don Aslett's) what to use and she said use "Perkey Spotter Spot & Stain Remover" AND IT WORKED NO PINK I am so happy... All I wanted was cute toe nails.

Kokanee Salmon

Scott and I went for a ride by Cinnamon Creek Campground (above Porcupine Dam). And found these...
They are called Kokanee Salmon. After they are hatched, they live their lives swimming around in the dam for 4 years. They then swim up the creek to lay their eggs. And then their little lives come to an end... and die.

On a postive note - look how cool they are! We are not sure why they change into this bright orange, but it's so neat to see. If you get the chance, you should really go.

We had very fun time with the Mannings and the Bodines It was our last time to be with the Mannings.President Manning has been called to be a Mission President(they are going to Lima, Peru)We have been in the Stake Presidency with them for 7 years and it has truly been a fun time we will miss them very much. Twice a year we have a retreat afer each stake conf.

As I look back on the past year and look forward to the new year not much has changed I am grateful for Family and for a warm home, food to eat, a car that works and a doctor that can help. I hope to enjoy a great year with kids comming home to visit from Boston, family reunions at bear lake, St George,grandsons first birthday my youngest turning 20,( who is getting married next summer) wow, and a 30 year wedding anniversary (hope to travel some place fun)

She passed away on Nov. 24, 2008 she was 88 years old. Her mind was so sharp but her little body was worn out. She was kind to everyone, I'll always cherish our memories of her. We love and miss her.

This last weekend I had the opportunity to go down to Zions

it was a lot of fun it was in the 80's so nice. Niki and I went down

to St. Geo. for a day did some shopping, and I got to spend the day

with her Hear all about what she has been up to with school, work,

and friends.Scott was at work all this time so he asked us to wait til Sat. to go

hiking. so we got up and went for our adventure for the day. We hiked up to

Angel's Landing it was about 1200 feet up. not very many people, Lots of switch backs, cliffs to hand on for dear life (we were hanging on this chain.)

on top was way cool to look where we have been. The

thing that bugged me the most was coming back down by this time (Lot's

of people.) The European people were so rude, don't follow the rules of the trail. Me and Niki

are hanging onto this chain if we let go we drop 1200 feet. Those men and I think women

come right up by us, I closed my eyes so I think they passed us fine. But all and all I'am so glad I can say this:I hiked,climbed,crawled, nearly passed out and barely made it to the top of Angel's Landing. (Zions National Park)

(This has been a personal goal for me to go hiking you see I have Rheumatoid Arthritis for the last 20 Years and it has been the last 2 years that I found a doctor who cares about me and to help me. He has put me on new medicine that has given me my life back.) When I get my pictures from niki I'll put them on my blog. Funny thing my camera did't have it's memory card in it so,Niki took all the pictures and she live's down in Logan.

I don't like being a empty nester! I miss all the noise and wondering when kids are going to get home. I know I can't buy 2 gallons of milk we don't drink it fast enough, I just dumped 1/2 gallon down the sink, it was sour.I did do something crazy I never do this we got us a new mattress (I need a step ladder to get into bed ) sooo I got me a new Bed Spread, I love Brown and Green.

On June 28, 2008, my son, Wade, and his bride, Kali, were married in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, although it was rather hot. (Very hot) They still made a cute couple. Later that evening, we had a garden reception. We were so happy to see our friends and family come support us and show us their love and this happy day.

I have been married for 29 years, wow the time has gone by so fast! I have been so lucky to have my life, long dream be a stay at home Mom. I have four great kids and the most wonderful husband. Our family just keeps on growing! We have 3 wonderful in-laws (Wade is getting married on June 28) and 2 Grand kids. Our first grand daughter is our little angel in Heaven; she was a stillborn. Eva Grace was born on Feb 16 2006. We now have a new little grandson and he is so cute! He reminds me of Jared at that age (like father like son) Jackson is 3months old and was born on January 15, 2008.
We are about to be empty Nester's. I've always dreamed about being a Mom and have forgotten to plan what to do with myself when the kids are gone. So now I'm wondering what to do (got any ideas for me) I love to read, hike, plant flowers and watch them grow; hoping that my dog won't dig them up! I love to travel and now I have a new place to go, Boston, Mass. Wade and Kali are moving to Boston so Wade can get his masters.
Scott an d I have been trying to eat healthy, no junk food has been so hard, of course! Scott has lost 15 lbs and I'm still the same. I am looking forward to summer, I hate winter!!! Thanks for visiting my blog and come back soon!
