Thanksgiving

This year I was out in Boston with my son's and their families and my husban was home (We have never been apart on a holiday I really loved being with my boys but I really missed my honey)

We Love the great out doors, so we went for a ride up Left Hand Fork (went 20 miles)It was warm and it was great to spend time with my husban....

Halloween

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween, These are some of my pumpkins that I grew in my garden last summer... I miss the excitement of my little kids wondering what they want to dress up for Halloween(my daughters did come over here looking for something to wear to work) that was fun for me...Happy Haunting

Hello Fall

I am sad to have all my flowers gone due to the frost, but I love fall to wear sweaters, and to look at all the cute Halloween decorations.

These are my pumpkins that I have taken care of all summer, watering them, watching them grow.

Kokanee Salmon

Scott and I went for a ride by Cinnamon Creek Campground (above Porcupine Dam). And found these...
They are called Kokanee Salmon. After they are hatched, they live their lives swimming around in the dam for 4 years. They then swim up the creek to lay their eggs. And then their little lives come to an end... and die.

On a postive note - look how cool they are! We are not sure why they change into this bright orange, but it's so neat to see. If you get the chance, you should really go.

Moving to Boston

I never imagined a year ago when Wade and Kali moved to Boston that one year later Jared and Susan would be moving to Boston also, We wish them lots of luck with their new adventure...

White Pine

On July 24th Scott and I hiked into white pine lake
one of my most favorite place to hike.... So peaceful
(for about 5 min we were the only ones at the lake),
the flowers were so pretty, what a fun day...

We had the opportunity to go the Oquirrh Temple on July 7,09 it was really sweet Jackson was very reverent. Very cool to have most of my Family with us...

Zion Canyon

We have had a few crazy weeks, but fun... with Niki's wedding and then we went to St. George, Utah for a week it was so nice and sun shine when here at home it rained and rained. I sure do love my family, they are the best ( Wade and Kali and Niki and Josh didn't come with us)

My backyard, I am so sad, I have been here for 26 years
with no one behind me...

We no longer live in the west fields by ourselves...
They are making a road (200 North) to the north of us and a elementary school.
so weird to see trucks and cars in my back yard.... (to the north of me) I am use to being a lone in my yard. That means I need to keep the back yard clean and neat...

Boston and Newport Rhode Island

We went for a 30 Year Wedding Anniversary to Newport Rhode Island and we had to stop in Boston, Wade and Kali went with us to Rhode Island It was great to see them and to get away. It was alot of fun

I think Spring is coming

Sure signs of SPRING: Robins, Daffodils and Tulips peeking up through the dirt and Flies. It makes me feel better to know that winter is all most gone, but I live in Utah it can be warm one day and snowing the next....
