Scott and I went for a ride by Cinnamon Creek Campground (above Porcupine Dam). And found these...
They are called Kokanee Salmon. After they are hatched, they live their lives swimming around in the dam for 4 years. They then swim up the creek to lay their eggs. And then their little lives come to an end... and die.
On a postive note - look how cool they are! We are not sure why they change into this bright orange, but it's so neat to see. If you get the chance, you should really go.
